This reportage tells my trip to China: the sequence of images builds up the visual discovery of the Country not using chronicle facts and not submitting it to a rational order. Objects are caught as details of the great landscapes where I met people I immortalized with my camera.
I switch from long shots to portraits showing the contrast existing between the uniform extent and the different singularities of the Country so to let the eye of the spectator wanders in the picture as an explorer does in front of a new land. Skyscrapers, public gardens and entertainment centers are the silent witnesses of the hyper development of China, where people are still able to color and diversify himself with amusing balloons, pink rollerblades or pink scooters, flowers in the hair.
